The name of my element is Niobium, shortened is Nb. Its atomic number is 41. Niobium was originally found in an ore found in England. Niobium was discovered in 1801 by a man named Hatchett. I was given the idea of my print when I found that Niobium was found in majorly two things: stainless steel and some jewelry. Instead of choosing between the two, I combined them into a silverware necklace. I took the idea of a fork, curving the outer edges, and making the inner edges into the shape of a heart. I made the plate in the same way in which it was drew. But more importantly I left two pieces left uncut. They were the places where the two inner pieces crossed over each other so that it gave it the 3D image. Making the prints was fairly simple. Cutting was short, sweet, and to the point. I may have used too much paint here and there but I say they came out marvelous. The prints I kept fairly simple because Niobium is a rather simple element. I used one single foundation colors to keep it plain. Cutting was easily the most fun part of it all. I think I did a very good job with the 3D images of crossing one part over another. Next time I just plan to get it all done earlier. I waited a little last minute to get the cutting/printing, but other than that.
